The fourth season of Drag Race Down Under premiered in 2024, through Stan in Australia, TVNZ+ in New Zealand, and on WOW Presents Plus internationally.

On March 11, 2024, it was officially announced that RuPaul will be stepping down as host, with Michelle Visage taking over as host and Rhys Nicholson remaining on the panel. It was also announced that various Down Under alum will appear as guests throughout the season.[1] This change also prompted the removal of RuPaul's name from the show's title.

On October 3, 2024, it was announced that the Cast RuVeal would take place on October 10, 2024.

Background

The fourth season of Drag Race Down Under is slated to air in 2024. Michelle Visage will replace RuPaul as host. Rhys Nicholson will remain a permanent judge, and the season will feature guest judges and former contestants from the series.[2] RuPaul will continue to be an executive producer.[3]

According to Variety, the show's name will be changed from "RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under" to "Drag Race Down Under".[4]
