Draft:Three Stooges on TV

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In 1949, after objecting against a TV pilot (see Jerks of All Trades), Columbia Pictures sent 30 3 Stooges to ABC. Later, in 1958, Screen Gems put 78 shorts in syndication. This page is showing all Stooge shows that have links (segments) especially produced.

N.Y.U.K

AMC (American Movie Classics) aired ˋN.Y.U.K´ in the early 2000s. Hosted by Leslie Nielsen, the show aired the shorts as part of ˋeducational lessons‘ hosted by Nielsen as a University Tutor (hence ˋN.Y.U.Kˋ standing for ˋNew Yuk University for Knuckleheads).

Besides Nielsen, Carrot Top and Dan Lauria appeared as other tutors (Lauria as Coach Hamstrung, Carrot Top as Dr. Eugene Spicing).

Here are all intros that appeared on AMC as part of N.Y.U.K.
