Tempe Rugby Club
[edit]Tempe Rugby Club is a premier rugby union club based in Tempe, Arizona, United States. Established in 1980, the club has grown to become one of the most successful rugby organizations in the Southwest, with competitive teams in men’s, women’s, high school, and youth rugby. Tempe Rugby Club is widely recognized for its role in developing elite rugby talent, with numerous alumni progressing to USA Rugby’s national team system at the youth, high school, and senior levels, as well as competing in professional leagues both domestically and internationally.
History
[edit]The Tempe Rugby Club was founded in 1980 and has since become one of the dominant forces in Arizona rugby. Over the decades, the club has expanded its reach to include youth, high school, collegiate, and senior-level teams, making it a key contributor to the growth of rugby in the Southwest United States.
The club has consistently been a top contender in state, regional, and national competitions, winning multiple Arizona state championships and competing in USA Rugby’s National Club Championship Series. Tempe Rugby Club has been instrumental in developing rugby at the grassroots level, offering structured coaching, development pathways, and mentorship programs for young athletes.
Teams and Competition

Notable Alumni
