Stairway for a Star is 1947 American film produced by Jack Rieger. The film was directed by Jack Rieger and stars Cornel Wilde, Helen Beverley, Dennis Brent,[1] and Linda Lee Hill. The film was advertised as "A Drama of Hopes that Never Die!" telling a story of a man who tries to make others famous only to stumble to fame himself. The film includes performances by the Sam Gaillard Trio, Del Castro Sisters, and Terry Twins. The film took advantage of Cornel Wilde's popularity.[2] Astor Pictures released the film in 1948.
