Biographie
[edit]Guelord Mukadi Mbolela est né le 19 avril 1983 à Lubumbashi, en République démocratique du Congo. Dès son plus jeune âge, il s'intéresse à la musique, débutant en tant que rappeur francophone à l'école et dans son quartier. En 2001, il s'installe à Johannesburg, en Afrique du Sud, pour poursuivre ses études, où il découvre la house music et apprend le DJing en autodidacte. Il commence à se produire dans des clubs locaux tels que Aqua Lounge, WooZoo, Vogue Night-Club et Monaco Lounge. Face aux limitations des ingénieurs du son pour répondre à ses besoins, il se lance dans la programmation musicale, se spécialisant dans le Hip-hop, le R&B et la house music.
En 2009, Mzilikazi wa Afrika le découvre et le signe sur le label Bomba Records, ce qui marque un tournant dans sa carrière vers la deep et l'afro house. Il participe à l'album "Tamanini" de Mzilikazi wa Afrika et forme avec lui le groupe The A-Team, aux côtés de Jaso Moke, Silly M, Sbonza, Morra Derey, Willie et Godheaven.
