Silverfort is a privately owned cybersecurity company founded in 2016. It provides Identity threat detection and response, Identity-based security, multi-factor authentication and ransomware protection against lateral movement attacks.
Founded in Tel Aviv, Israel, and headquartered in the United States, the company has offices in over 18 locations worldwide including main offices in North America, in Europe and in Asia Pacific.[2]
History
[edit]The company was co-founded by Hed Kovetz (CEO), Yaron Kassner (CTO), and Matan Fattal in 2016.[2]
In March 2021 the company signed a strategic partnership with Microsoft[3] to enable organizations to consolidate Identity and Access Management for all their devices, applications and environments on Microsoft Entra ID (previously Azure AD).
As of 2024, the company has approximately 300 employees worldwide.[2]

Seed Round on April 1, 2016, with StageOne Ventures as a lead investor. The amount raised was not disclosed.
