Rogerio Celaya is an Mexican Professional Football Manager, having previously worked as Assistant Director of Coaching at Sporting Kansas City and Coach Educator with US Soccer Federacion.
Rogerio Celaya (born 27 December 1988) is a mexican soccer coach and manager known for his work in developing youth soccer programs and managing competitive teams at both the academy and professional levels. With a career spanning over twenty years. Celaya has been instrumental in fostering talent and implementing innovative coaching techniques, earning recognition within the US soccer community. He currently serves as Director of Coaching at Pflugerville FC [1]and Head Coach for Austin RISE FC,[2] where he focuses on is a community-focused soccer organization based in Pflugerville, Texas, dedicated to nurturing soccer talent and promoting the sport across the Austin metropolitan area.
The club specializes in developing players through comprehensive training programs and competitive team experiences, with a strong emphasis on youth development in the Pflugerville region. Additionally, the organization is committed to advancing opportunities in women’s professional soccer,[3] playing a pivotal role in growing the sport's landscape for female athletes within the Austin metro[4] area.
AUSTIN RISE FC
[edit]Austin Rise FC is an American semi-professional women's soccer club based in Austin, Texas. The club was established in 2022 and is fully women-owned. They compete in the Women's Premier Soccer League as a member of the Lone Star Conference. Austin Rise's home matches are played at House Park Stadium in Austin, Texas.
Austin Rise FC announced their intent to become a fully professional women's soccer team on August 22, 2023. WPSL Pro will be a Division III professional league[5], below the National Women's Soccer League and USL Super League. The league will run a spring to fall season to coincide with the NWSL's fall to spring season. Austin Rise FC is planned as one of the ten teams planned when the league start in 2025.
