Rayagada railway division is one of the three railway divisions under the jurisdiction of East Coast railway. The headquarters of this division is located at Rayagada, Odisha.[1][2]
The division was formed after bifurcating former Waltair railway division during the creation of South Coast Railway zone.[3][4]
History
[edit]- In 2025, Rayagada railway division was formed by carving it out from the Waltair railway division.[5][6]

Performance and earning
[edit]A major portion of this division lies in mining region and most of its revenue comes from freight services.[7]
