Ranicherra Tea Estate [Also spelled: Ranichera] is one of the tea gardens located on the banks of Chel river, in North Bengal.The nearest railway station is New Mal Junction and the nearest airport is Bagdogra Airport. The pincode is 735229 which is shared with the neighbouring village of Sailihat. The majority of the people here are tribals from communities such as Munda people, Kurukh people, Kharia people, etc who are locally known as "Adivasi". The majority of the people do tea plucking as their main profession. The nearest towns are Malbazar and Gorubathan.

The main religions followed here are Hinduism and Christianity. There are minorities of Muslims and Buddhists (Buddhism here, is only followed by the Bhutia people and Tamang people.
