Pridian is a modern metalcore band from Estonia, created originally in 2018 under the name ÆØNS.^[1] The band consists of four members, vocalist Laur Lindmäe, guitarist Jörg-Erik Hanikat, guitarist Martin Randalu and drummer Robert Leht.^[2]

Their debut album "The Rotten Unknown", released under the name ÆØNS in June 2021, was also nominated in the "Metal Album of the Year" category at the Estonian Music Awards.^[3]

Pridian has performed at Estonia's biggest metal festivals: Hard Rock Laager, Barbar Feast and Tallinn Music Week. The band has also shared the stage with bigger foreign artists such as Humanity's Last Breath, Atlas^[4], Unprocessed^[5] and Distant^[6]. In 2024, Pridian made their international debut in Helsinki, Finland^[7] as well as Cologne, Germany at Euroblast Festival 2024.^[8]

Discography

In September 2024, Century Media Records announced signing Pridian to their artist roster.^[9] By the end of 2024, Pridian had released two singles under the record label, with the announcement of an album set to release in spring of 2025.^[10] The band previously released their debut EP "Cybergnosis" in 2023. The EP consists of 5 singles, each with music videos.^[11]
