Piglet (originally titled Piglet's Return) is an upcoming British independent slasher film produced by Jagged Edge Productions and ITN Studios[1], written by Harry Boxley, produced by Stuart Alson, Rene August, and Nicole Holland, and directed by Andrea M. Catinella. The film serves as a spin-off of the Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey franchise[1], a horror parody[3][4][5] of A. A. Milne and E. H. Shepard's Winnie-the-Pooh books, from The Twisted Childhood Universe (TCU), and stars Lauren Staerck, Alina Desmond, Valery Danko, Shayli Reagan, and Alexander Butler as the titular human-pig hybrid murderer. It follows Piglet, a murderous human-pig hybrid feral murderer, as he terrorises a Kate and her friends when they rent a log cabin for the weekend[1]. The film is set to be released in 2024[1][6].

Plot

On Kate’s 21st birthday camping trip, her friends encounter Piglet, a monstrous human-pig hybrid, who brutally murders one of them. They uncover Piglet’s origins, and Kate must confront her past to survive the relentless killer[1].

Production

On September 04th, 2024, ITN announced that a Piglet-based horror film was in production, and uploaded the trailer onto the internet.[7] Andrea M. Catinella, better known for his previous work on The Dancing Queen, Christmas with the Pups 2: Pups Alone, Island of the Dolls 2, The Interpreter, the "Stoned" music video by British-Italian rock/pop punk band The Kanz, Swallow, and The Truckman, was set to direct[1].
