My Green Doctor Foundation is a nonprofit charitable organization. It is known for supporting My Green Doctor, a free practice management program owned by the Florida Medical Association

the program assists clinics, surgical centers, and outpatient centers, helps them save money—by adopting environmental sustainability—and improves overall community healthcare—by sharing provident choices with patients.^[2]

History

In 2022, Bush et al. used the membership of a given healthcare institution in the My Green Doctor program—along with the Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health— as an indicator for that institution's committment to provide educational material about climate change.^[5]

As of December 2022, Todd L. Sack, a gastroenterologist and hepatologist from Jacksonville, Florida, who created the "My Green Doctor" program,^[6] sits as the executive director of the foundation, and the editor of its English version website since 2010.^[1]
