Mikhail Igorevich Kadochnikov (born April 6, 1989, Sredneuralsk) – Russian powerlifter, blogger, and entrepreneur.

Biography

Mikhail Kadochnikov was born on April 6, 1989, in Sredneuralsk, Sverdlovsk Region, Russia.

In 2004, he graduated from Sredneuralsk Secondary School No. 31. While still a student, Mihail developed a strong interest in various sports.

After school, he pursued studies in information technology and logistics, but ultimately, his professional path was dened by entrepreneurship and sports.

In 2013, Mihail was detained by FSB ofcers in Russia on charges of organizing a group engaged in criminal activities on the Internet. From 2013 to 2015, he was held in Pre-Trial Detention Center No. 1 in Yekaterinburg before being sentenced to 9 years in a high-security prison. He served his sentence at Correctional Facility No. 10 in Yekaterinburg. In 2020, he was released on parole.

It is known that:

  • He maintains friendly relations with the Jewish community of Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Region.
  • He assisted the Jewish community branch in Correctional Facility No. 10 in Yekaterinburg until its closure in 2023.
  • In 2022, he enrolled at the Ural State Law University (USLU) named after V. F. Yakovlev (formerly USLA) in the “Institute of Special Educational Programs.”
  • In 2022–2023, he completed professional retraining at the “NADPO” Institute under the program: “Gym Instructor. Conducting Group and Individual Training Sessions.”
  • Since 2022, he has been an entrepreneur.
  • Since 2023, he has been a special correspondent for the “Main Events” news agency.

At the age of 30, following the advice of his friend Marat Fanauyevich Karamov (a participant in the Special Military Operation who died during the storming of Avdiivka), he decided to take up powerlifting.

In February 2024, he participated in the “Through Hardships to the Stars” powerlifting tournament.

He competed in the “IPL Powerlifting in Wraps” category in the under-90 kg weight class, totaling 582.5 kg in the triathlon. This marked his competitive powerlifting debut.

In an interview with Persono magazine, he shared insights on how to start powerlifting from scratch and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

In March 2024, he competed in the WRPF “Big Ural” tournament in Perm. There is also online information regarding his participation in the “Golden Tiger 2024” tournament.

In January 2025, he competed in the Regional Powerlifting Championships, securing rst place in the “Classic Powerlifting” discipline among men.

In February 2025, Mihail took second place in the Interregional Powerlifting Championship “Ural Master” in the “Powerlifting” discipline among men in the 93 kg weight category and third place in the overall men’s ranking with a score of 77.22 points.
