Biography
[edit]Hut was born into a musical family on March 12, 1931 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. He began playing piano at the age of 10, showing enough musical aptitude to study at the Rotterdam Royal Conservatory. After winning 1st prize in the conservatory concerto competition, Hut made his orchestral debut playing Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3 with the conservatory orchestra. [2] [3]
