Louis Scaglione is an American conductor, educator, and the current president and music director of the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra (PYO), one of the United States' premier youth orchestras. Under his leadership, the orchestra has grown significantly, gaining recognition for his cutthroat yet effective teaching methods.
