Anatoly Karpov (born May 23, 1951) and Garry Kasparov (born April 13, 1963) have played 167 classical Chess games, of which Kasparov won twenty eight, Karpov won twenty, and the remaining 119 being draws. Thus the overall score favors Kasparov(+28-20=119).[1] The rivalry between the two players is often referred to as the greatest rivalry in Chess history[2] and they have faced each other in five world championship matches.
