Kennedy Brock (born September 13, 1988) is an American guitarist and backing vocalist for the pop punk band The Maine.
Early life
[edit]Brock was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona, United States. Originally his birth name was Jonathan Franklin Trotter until it being changed due to family reasons. He went to high school with some members of the pop punk band The Summer Set.[1]
Career
[edit]In 2006, Brock played in a band called Last Call for Camden along with Jess Bowen and brothers Stephen and John Gomez (The Summer Set). They released one EP titled, Keep Your Feet on the Ground, before disbanding. In 2007, Brock joined the Maine along with guitarist Jared Monaco, following the departure of Alex Ross and Ryan Osterman.[2]
Personal life
[edit]In 2015, Brock underwent a successful surgery to remove a tumor on his thoracic spine.[3]
