Jon Boast (born August 18, 1979) is a British director of photography, lighting camera operator, and photographer. He is the founder of The London Camera Company and has extensive experience in television, documentaries, and commercial productions.
Early life and education
[edit]Jon Boast was born on August 18, 1979. Details about his early life and education are not publicly documented, although he is said to have grown up in Dover, Kent.
Career
[edit]Boast began his career in the late 1990s and has since built a diverse portfolio. He has worked on various television series, including several series with the TV duo The Hairy Bikers and several series involving crafting with TV presenter Kirstie Allsopp. His expertise extends to documentaries, promos, comedy, and corporate events. He is known for his proficiency in lighting and camera operations, as well as his ability to work both independently and as part of larger teams.
In addition to his work behind the camera, Boast founded The London Camera Company, providing kit and crew facilities for various productions.
