Jaja Agpalo was born on December 1, 1992, in Ormoc City, Leyte, Philippines. She graduated from Visayas State University in Baybay City, Leyte, with a Bachelor of Science in Development Communication, majoring in Development Journalism, in 2013. During her academic years, she consistently earned accolades, including being a College and Academic Scholar. [2]

Jaja Agpalo began her career as a contributor and freelance writer for several local publications, such as Eastern Visayas Mailand Baybay Post. She later advanced to editorial roles at international outlets, including EconoTimes, EpicStream, and Micky News. As Managing Editor, Agpalo was responsible for editorial policies, team management, and content development, with a focus on ensuring high-quality standards and audience engagement.

In addition to her editorial achievements, Agpalo served as a Science Communication Specialist for the Office of the Vice President for Research and Extension at Visayas State University. In this role, she specialized in technical writing, editing, and promotional content for research initiatives. Her notable projects include editing Sibol Magazine and authoring articles for RDE Update.
