Biography
[edit]Csáky was born in Győrszemere, a rural town in the vicinity of Győr.[1]
He was the second child of Judit Tóth, a native citizen of Győrszemere, and István Ernő Csáky, an affluent landowner from the Hungarian Puszta.[1] Both of his parents followed the faith of the Reformed Church in Hungary.[1]
As a student, he attended the Révai Miklós Gimnázium in Győr[1] and participated in the 1956 revolution against the country’s Communist dictatorship.[1]

Following the inception of his horticultural studies at Fertőd, he visited East Berlin and some of its surrounding areas in order to complete his training in horticulture.[1]
He married Mária Gottlieb, a Roman Catholic citizen of Nagyigmánd, in January of 1968. Afterwards, they settled down in Nagyigmánd. Their only child, was born in the very same year.[1]
In the course of the following years, Csáky worked as an agronomist at the Hungarian company IKR.[1] During his retirement, he continued to stay in the village of Nagyigmánd.[1]
