Originally known as Genting Amusement & Recreational Park or Genting A&R Park. The theme park opened from 1978-2013 (the exact date of the opening is unknown) but it was closed on 1 September 2013.
When opened in 1978, it featured a few activities including Kayaking, Children's Swinger and a small Ferris Wheel. It also has a Tea House.
During the 1980s, a few attractions were added including Antique Cars, Trains, Jet Plane, Cyclone and Merry-Go-Round.
Cyclone rollercoaster was opened in 1983 (Source rollercoaster database).
In 1992, the indoor theme park was opened on the lower ground floor of Genting Hotel (now known as Genting Grand).
