F.J. McMahon is an American singer-songwriter from Santa Barbara, California. His first and only LP, Spirit of the Golden Juice, was originally pressed in 1969 as a small quantity release from Accent Records. The album garnering a following among folk and psych lovers, and in 2017 it was reissued by Anthology Recordings.
Spirit of the Golden Juice is concerned with memory, mystery, and the preservation of the two. It explores the weight of personal experience, blending simple lyricism with acoustic guitar.
