Dreamlily is an American dreamrock band formed in 2018. The band comprises Lily Herne (vocals, 12-string guitar), Chipper Bixby (bass), Hal York (theremin, harmonica), and Sophia Magdalena (drums). With influences in psychedelic rock, J-pop, and Celtic mythology, the group got its start with command performances for the President of Ireland and the Consul General of Japan for Atlanta, Georgia.
The Dreamlily emblem is a pair of stag antlers holding a floating mariposa lily. The Dreamlily logo is an antler vector created from a real life rack. During their North Woods music tour, the rack was gifted to Dreamlily by a hunter in Butternut, Wisconsin. The antlers are the emblem of the Celtic "Herne" deity who is part man, part god, and part stag. He guards the lily inside his dreams.
Dreamlily songs are composed by Lily Herne after entering and exiting a dream state.
Dreamlily is said to "play music that is not in category" according to Bulldog 93.3fm. Neither are dreams. After their first European Tour, the band coined their music as Dreamrock.
