ConnorEatsPants (born 1998 or 1999),[1] first name Connor,[a] is a Twitch live streamer and YouTuber who is known for his interviews with various celebrities in his comedy livestream series Fortnite Friday, in which interviewees play the video game Fortnite while talking to him. He has interviewed celebrities such as Lil Pump and Mckenna Grace and Joe Exotic, as well as political figures such as George Santos and Elon Musk fan Adrian Dittmann.

Fortnite Friday

[edit]

Connor has hosted several celebrities on his livestreamed series Fortnite Friday, in which he plays the video game Fortnite while interviewing them. He has interviewed rapper Lil Pump, actor McKenna Grace,[1] reality TV star Joe Exotic and Sesame Street character Elmo on the show.[2] Often during these streams, interviewees can become distracted from the interview by the game, though Connor has stated that this absurdity is the point of the streams.[1] The series became more frequent in 2024, though does not take place every Friday. As of January 2025, the series is Connor's biggest viewership draw by far.[2]

Notable episodes

[edit]

In October 2024, Connor interviewed former New York congressman George Santos on Fortnite Friday. Connor had first reached out to Santos in public replies to his Twitter posts, and then in private messages; Santos' booking team first requested a $6,000 "appearance fee" from Connor, but Santos later offered him an interview at no charge in exchange for Connor's appearance on an "upcoming project" from Santos. In the interview, the pair discussed Santos' time on Capitol Hill, the federal charges against him, and a number of controversial political issues, including gun control, abortion access and the Trump administration’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Santos also discussed Vaporeon, his favorite Pokémon, and the Resident Evil film series. Connor has said that his decision to interview Santos was a way to include both humor and serious discourse in order to both produce "escapism entertainment," and "provide something of substance, too."[1]

On January 3, 2025,[2] Adrian Dittmann, a German Twitter user and Elon Musk "superfan" from Fiji who some suspected may have been an alternate account used by Musk, was interviewed on Fortnite Friday. This livestream lasted two hours, during which Connor purposefully assumed that Dittmann was in fact Musk, interrogating his similarities to the businessman.[2] The interview began slowly, with Connor asking more difficult questions to Dittmann as the livestream went on. It peaked at 19,000 viewers on Twitch, with its vods on Twitch and YouTube gaining over than 2.8 million views collectively. The claim that Musk and Dittmann are the same person has reportedly been debunked.[2]
