Chris Conroy is an American actor known for his roles in television series such as Mr. Robot[1], Almost Family, and films including Professor Marston and the Wonder Women and The Congressman.[2]
Early life and education
[edit]Conroy was born and raised in Brackenridge, Pennsylvania, a small town just north of Pittsburgh. His father, Kevin, worked in the printing business. His mother Diane is a painter. Conroy developed an interest in acting during his youth and pursued it professionally after moving to New York City.
Career
[edit]Conroy made his television debut in Beneath directed by cult horror film legend Larry Fessenden.[3] He gained recognition for his recurring role as Derek in the USA Network series Mr. Robot.[4] He also appeared as Sam in the Fox series Almost Family.[5]
In film, Conroy portrayed Brant Gregory in Professor Marston and the Wonder Women.[6] His other film credits include Two Night Stand as Ben and Those People as Wyatt.
During this time, he starred in a commercial alongside Olivia Thirlby directed by Darius Khondji for Target Corporation x Prabal Gurung called "Love".[7]
Conroy has made recurring appearances in television series such as Blue Bloods as Brandon Mitchell, FBI as Jason Bell, and in God Friended Me as Adam Grey.
He appeared as the Hero in a Mercedes-Benz commercial titled "Say the Word," which aired during the Super Bowl.[8]
