Capt. (Dr.) Gaurang V. Rajwadkar is an esteemed academician and military officer in India. He serves as a faculty member in the Department of Information Technology at Sathaye College, Mumbai, where he has made significant contributions to both academia and the National Cadet Corps (NCC).
In 2014, Rajwadkar was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant as an Associate NCC Officer, distinguishing himself as one of the youngest officers in the NCC at that time. His dedication to the NCC is evident through his active involvement in various initiatives, including coaching the Mumbai 'A' group football team and leading cadets in ceremonial honors. Beyond his military and teaching roles, Rajwadkar has engaged in scholarly research. In January 2025, he published a paper titled "A Study of Intellectual Property's Ownership in AI-Generated Creations: Legal Challenges and Implications," analyzing the complexities of intellectual property rights within the Indian legal framework concerning AI-generated works.
Rajwadkar's commitment to education and service is further demonstrated by his participation in awareness campaigns, such as creating videos with NCC cadets to educate the public on preventing the spread of COVID-19.
His multifaceted career reflects a blend of academic excellence, military service, and community engagement.
