Brazil-Republic of Texas relations refers to the historical foreign relations between The Brazilian Empire and The Republic of Texas. Relations between the two nations began in 1836 following the Texas Revolution, relations ceased upon the annexation of Texas by the United States.
Diplomacy
[edit]Brazil never built an embassy but did however set up a consulate in Houston, Texas.[1] Texas never built an embassy in Brazil. Both nations traded goods on a relativaly friendly matter, with only a low tarrif placed on Texan goods by Brazil.[2]

Trade of Texan goods to Brazil was not not as high as the amount of Brazilian goods to Texas, but Texas did export cotton, corn and other crops to Brazil, The Brazilian Empire exported latex, sugar, coffee, cocoa and many other cash crops, Globally, including The Republic of Texas.[3]
