Antonio D'Aquino (Messina, 1964) is an Italian doctor and politician. He served as a deputy in the Sicilian Regional Assembly (ARS) for several legislatures and held significant positions in Sicilian regional politics.

Biography Son of Saverio D'Aquino, a former deputy and Undersecretary of the Interior, he followed in his father's footsteps by pursuing both a medical and political career. After earning a degree in Medicine and Surgery with top marks, he practiced as a physician and conducted research in the academic field.

Political Career D'Aquino was first elected to the Sicilian Regional Assembly (ARS) in 1996 with Forza Italia. He held his seat for three consecutive legislatures, from 1996 to 2008.

During his parliamentary activity, he co-signed eight bills.

Positions as Regional Minister Regional Minister for Local Authorities: From July 11, 2001, to August 30, 2004, he served as the Regional Minister for Local Authorities. Regional Minister for Industry: From August 30, 2004, he took on the role of Regional Minister for Industry. Return to Medicine After concluding his political career, D'Aquino returned to the medical profession. He currently works as an oncologist in his hometown, Messina.
