Submission declined on 28 October 2024 by Tesleemah (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia. This submission does not appear to be written in the formal tone expected of an encyclopedia article. Entries should be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources. Please rewrite your submission in a more encyclopedic format. Please make sure to avoid peacock terms that promote the subject.

Career
[edit]Legal Career
[edit]Lopez is a licensed board-certified civil trial lawyer who represents policyholders against insurance companies in cases involving property damage, personal injury, and health insurance claims.[1]
After graduating from St. Thomas University College of law in 2005[2], Anthony Lopez became a partner at Marin, Eljaiek, & Lopez, P.L.,[3] a boutique litigation firm which later became Marin, Eljaiek, Lopez, & Martinez, P.L. in 2017[4].
Lopez launched the law firm Your Insurance Attorney in Florida in 2019.[citation needed] In 2021, he filed the second highest number of reported lawsuits against insurance companies in the state of Florida, totaling 1,959[5]. In 2022, Your Insurance Attorney was recognized as having filed the most lawsuits against insurance companies in Florida, according to industry records[6], and was regarded as the state’s largest property insurance firm.[7]
Notable Case: State Farm Florida Insurance Company v. Charles Sanders, et al.
[edit]One significant case handled by Anthony Lopez is State Farm Florida Insurance Company v. Charles Sanders, et al., which was brought before the Florida Supreme Court.[8] Lopez, alongside Joe De Prado and Steven Gurian, represented Charles and Diana Sanders in a lawsuit against State Farm for failing to honor their homeowner’s insurance policy following Hurricane Irma. The case, filed on August 13, 2018, concluded successfully for the Sanders in 2021, setting a legal precedent for similar insurance disputes in Florida.[3]
Philanthropy and Other Ventures
[edit]Lopez serves as the chairman of the Consumer Protection Alliance, which advocates for Floridians’ constitutional rights to access the court system, particularly for those lacking financial resources.[9] Through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, he donated the use of his plane to grant a wish for a terminally ill child.[10] These and other endeavors led Lopez to be named one of the “12 Good Men for 2023” by Ronald McDonald House Charities.[11]
Personal Life
[edit]Lopez is engaged to Dr. Nicole Martin, a star on Real Housewives of Miami and an anesthesiologist.[12] The couple met in Las Vegas in 2015 and became engaged on December 31, 2021, in Aspen. They have a son, Greyson, and a daughter, Genevieve.[13]
Lopez is an aviation enthusiast, having obtained a pilot license in 2016 and jet certification in 2020.[11]
In real estate, Lopez sold his former residence in Coral Gables, Florida, for $44 million and purchased a waterfront estate in the same area for $22 million, with plans to invest an additional $10 million in its development.[14]
