Draft:Amir Bastan
Submission declined on 18 January 2025 by Timtrent (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Comment: I am failing to see notability under WP:NAUTHOR, nor under WP:NARTIST. There is no notability under WP:NPROF"media arts.[6][7][8][9][10][6][11]" is a prime example of WP:CITEKILL. Instead we need one excellent reference per fact asserted. If you are sure it is beneficial, two, and at an absolute maximum, three. Three is not a target, it's a limit. Aim for one. A fact you assert, once verified in a reliable source, is verified. More is gilding the lily. Please choose the very best in each case of multiple referencing for a single point and either drop or repurpose the remainder.A true review its not possible without you sorting out the referencing. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 13:39, 18 January 2025 (UTC)
Comment: I do not think this article demonstrates sufficient notability under WP:AUTHOR which I think is the best guideline here. However I did not decline due to my last bullet below which I am unsure of* I do not see evidence of wide citation * I see he is contributing to emerging trends and new techiques but not claims that he is the originator of these techniques * None of the sources appear to be independent periodicals* The work does not appear in a permanent exhibition* The work does not appear to be a **substantial** part of a **significant exhibition** . I am unsure of his is exhibition in Ars Electronica should count here Czarking0 (talk) 06:35, 6 December 2024 (UTC)
Comment: WP:PROF could also be used here but I think this would fail under tha guideline Czarking0 (talk) 06:17, 6 December 2024 (UTC)
Comment: I think WP:AUTHOR is the relevant notability guideline here Czarking0 (talk) 06:12, 6 December 2024 (UTC)
