Akkenam is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language action thriller film written and directed by Uday K and produced by Arun Pandian's A & P Groups, starring himself and Keerthi Pandian in the lead roles.[1]

Production
[edit]On 18 February 2025, it was announced that the upcoming film starring Keerthi Pandian and her father Arun Pandian in the lead roles, who were last seen together in Anbirkiniyal (2021) is directed by Uday K.[3] The film was titled Akkenam symbolizing Tamil-vowel Aayudha Ezhuthu, as the film revolves around three characters[4] and is produced by Arun Pandian himself under his A & P Groups banner.[1] The film also stars Adithya Shivpink, Ramesh Thilak, and G. M. Sundar in key roles.[2] The technical team consists of cinematographer Vignesh Govindarajan, music composer Barath Veeraraghavan, editor Devathyan, art director Raja, stunt director PC Stunts and renowned Odissi instructor Gangadhar Nayak and his team was roped in to perform for a song.[5]
Principal photography took place across Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and North India.[3]
