Ajay is also a philanthropist and the founder of Kids Hope Foundation[4], a charity organization she started in Nigeria in 2024. The foundation's mission is to support children living on the streets and assist underprivileged schools by providing essential learning materials. Her compassion for children stems from her personal experiences as a single mother to Jason Ayomide Williams and Mercy Eniola Ajani, understanding the challenges of raising children alone and the struggles of lacking basic needs during childhood.

Ajay E. Salako emphasizes the importance of giving back to the community, a value deeply rooted in her personal experiences and highlighted in Lights Over Darkness[5]. Her struggles with personal loss, identity crises, and raising children as a single mother have profoundly shaped her perspective on helping others. In her memoir, she recounts moments where a lack of support made challenges feel insurmountable, which motivated her to ensure others in difficult situations receive the help they deserve. This belief led to the creation of the Kids Hope Foundation, where she actively works to uplift vulnerable children and provide them with opportunities for education and stability. Through her efforts, Ajay inspires others to use their life experiences as motivation for positive change, demonstrating that personal challenges can be transformed into opportunities for community impact.
