Ahmer Haider is an Indian actor, film producer, and director, who has appeared in Hindi films including Am I Next, Bioscopewala, Country of Blind, and Zindagi Ki Mehek.

Early life and education

Haider was born and raised in Kashmir. He is a graduate of Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology, Institution of Engineers (India).[1][2]

Career

Haider's professional journey began as a Sales Engineer at Bharat Steels, where he discovered his passion for sales over services. He eventually transitioned to the entertainment industry, making his acting debut with a cameo role as a Pakistani Police Officer in the film Bioscopewala.[3][4]

He also played a guest appearance as a Doctor in the TV series Zindagi Ki Mehek, which premiered on Zee TV on August 15, 2018.[5]

Dr. Rahul was played by Ahmer Haider in the film Am I Next. This film was directed by Rahat Kazmi and was released in the year 2023.[6]

Haider played the character of the Vishwa in the film Country of Blind, which was directed by Rahat Kazmi and released in India in the year 2024.[7][8][9] The film also features Hina Khan, who has worked with Rahat Kazmi before.[10]

He had also played an Dr Adeel in film Bed No 17 is currently streaming on Hungama Digital Media Entertainment. The film stars Hina Khan and Farida Jalal and was released on October 18th, 2023
