Danil Kryshkovets[b], better known as donk, is a Russian professional Counter-Strike 2 player for Team Spirit.
He is widely recognized for his aggressive playstyle and is considered one of the top young talents in the Counter-Strike scene. In his first season of senior play, Danil was awarded the 2024 Player of the Year Award by HLTV,[1] the youngest such player to win that honor. He also is the youngest player to be named an HLTV MVP at a "Big Event,"[2] youngest HLTV MVP at a Major,[3] and the 2nd youngest player overall to receive an HLTV MVP award.[4] Winning the 2024 Rookie of the Year Award, Danil is considered to have had one of the greatest first seasons of all time.[5]
As part of Team Spirit, donk won the 2024 Shanghai Counter-Strike Major tournament. This made him the youngest player in history to win titles for both the Major and the Major MVP.[6] He also won the IEM Katowice 2024 tournament with the team.[7]
