Dheekshith Shetty (/ˈdiːkʃɪθ ˈʃɛti/) is an Indian film and television actor who predominantly works in Kannada and Telugu films. He is widely known for Dia (2020), Dasara (2023) and Blink (2024), and the television show Naagini.[3] Shetty won the SIIMA Award for Best Supporting Actor – Telugu for his performance in Dasara (2023).[4]

Career

Dheekshith started his career with the soap opera Preethi Endarenu and Sakshi in 2016 and rose to fame with Naagini alongside Deepika Das.[5] He also participated in the reality show Dance Karnataka Dance and emerged as the winner alongside Deepika Das.[6]

He made his feature film debut with the 2020 Kannada film Dia[7] He also appeared in few Kannada short films in 2022.[8] He then made his Telugu debut with Mugguru Monagallu and then starred in The Rose Villa. However his breakthrough in Telugu was through Dasara alongside Nani and Keerthy Suresh.[9][10] He also appeared in the anthology series Meet Cute produced by Nani.[11][12] His next release came in 2024 with KTM which opened to mixed reviews but Shetty's performance was appreciated.[13] The next release came within a month through the Kannada film Blink which was an experimental film with story of Oedipus which opened to glowing reviews.[14][15]
