Dhamaura Higher Secondary School (Hindi: धमौरा उच्च माध्यमिक विद्यालय) also known as Janata Rastriya Secondary School, is a higher secondary school in Dhamaura village of Mahottari district run by the Ministry of Education, Government of Nepal.[1][2]

Background

The school was founded in 2027 BS (1970 AD) by Tej Narayan Singh. It educates over 2,000 students, mostly from underprivileged Dalit, Janajati, and Adivasi communities. It has one of the largest enrollments in the district and is known for good performance, supported by active community involvement.[3]

It offers academic programs in Science, Management, and Education, as well as diploma courses in Civil Engineering and other fields.[4] It is affiliated with the National Examination Board (NEB) of Nepal.[5][6]
