Dead Meat is an American YouTube channel that mainly talks about horror films and other horror adjacent media[1][2] The channel is most know for a series called the Kill Count, a show where the main host James A. Janisse gives a summary of the film, then gives it's body count well also giving behind-the-scenes information.[2] Some examples of films they covered are Friday the 13th, Halloween, Saw, Get Out and It.[3]

The series, which began in 2017, was created by James A. Janisse and his then-girlfriend Chelsea Rebecca, who had met as film students attending the University of Michigan.[3]

Janisse and Rebecca had a cameo in the 2022 film Scream as two fictional Youtube Movie critics called Film Fails.[4]
