Darab Kola (Persian: دارابكلا)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Kuhdasht-e Gharbi Rural District of the Central District of Miandorud County, Mazandaran province, Iran.[4]

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 4,661 in 1,170 households, when it was in Kuhdasht Rural District[b] of the former Miandorud District of Sari County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 5,139 people in 1,461 households,[6] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Miandorud County. The rural district was transferred to the new Central District and renamed Kuhdasht-e Sharqi Rural District. Darab Kola was transferred to Kuhdasht-e Gharbi Rural District created in the district.[4] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 5,262 people in 1,678 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
