Colchester Garden Community
Colchester/Tendring Border Community (or Colchester Garden Community) is a proposed infrastructure project in the City of Colchester. The proposal includes the development of 7,500 - 9,000 buildings, including suburban housing, mixed use developments and high density housing.[1] The proposal is estimated to cost £2 billion, including the development of houses, apartments, businesses, schools, amenities and infrastructure.[citation needed] The proposal includes a central area, with a business hub, apartments, mixed use buildings and a central plaza with a forum.[2][3]
