Coat of arms of the municipality of Płaska - one of the symbols of the municipality of Płaska, established on 28 April 2007.[1]

Appearance and symbolism

The coat of arms depicts, a shield green divided by a silver wavy line (referring to the Augustow Canal), a gold boat with a cross-shaped mast at the top, and below it a gold letter ‘M’ (commemorating the visit of Pope John Paul II in 1999), while at the bottom there is a silver smelting furnace, associated with the history of the municipality.[2]
