Chaudhary Chandrapal Singh (14 July 1929 - 18 December 2019)[1] was an Indian politician who served as the cabinet minister in the Government of Uttar Pradesh. He was elected to the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly for two terms in 1974 and 1989 representing Kanth constituency. He was member of the Lok Sabha, the lower house of parliament representing Amroha, Uttar Pradesh from 1977 to 1984. During his early political career he was close to Chaudhary Charan Singh, former prime minister of India, but later he joined Samajwadi Party due to political tensions with Ajit Singh.[2][3]
