I say it should stay, the title has a nice ring to it, when said. The "male" part just seems to make one syllable too many. Besides, actresses separates the female ones from them enough already. --ShortTermer (talk) 01:08, 28 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
That is not the way the category system works. In the CFD discussion linked above, there was a clear consensus to keep Category:Jewish American male actors, so it will remain populated unless and until consensus changes.
I think it's time the two subcategories be merged into one category just called Jewish American actors. It's odd that one page uses "male actors" and one page uses "actresses," and the term actresses is moving out of common use anyway.
