[edit]"The language of the Franks", the old French/Latin-based patois of the Eastern Mediterranean ports and sealanes. Shouldn't this be a French pidgin/creole? I can see not putting Chinook Jargon in this category because although much of its vocabulary is French-based, it's not exclusively French in derivation.Skookum1 21:20, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
