Hi 2402:8100:261E:76B6:878:5634:1232:5476: This category tracks only existing Wikipedia pages that contain this category declaration. In Wikipedia, the category must be added to the article, not the other way around. Please see Wikipedia:FAQ/Categorization#How do I add an article to a category? For newer editors, it's understandably a counter-intuitive system. Category pages are not intended to be exhaustive lists. They are navigation aids; merely groupings of related, existing English Wikipedia pages. If we ever get an article for Karnat Brahmins or "Karnat Brahmins kantah" we can add [[Category:Brahmin communities of Bihar]] to it and a link to the article will automatically appear on the category page. That's how our categorization system works. Hope this helps in your understanding of the situation. --DB1729talk 10:43, 28 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Categories track only existing Wikipedia pages. Category pages are not intended to be exhaustive lists. They are navigation aids; merely groupings of related, existing English Wikipedia pages. In other words, we need an article in order to place the category in it. If no article exists for the subject, categorizing it, is of course, impossible. --DB1729talk 10:43, 28 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
