It's assumed that the huge majority of Bangladeshi photographers have carried out some photography in Bangladesh, so this category simply subsumes Bangladeshi photographers as a subcategory; Bangladeshi photographers are not additionally listed individually below.

As for non-Bangladeshi photographers, they are listed if they have done a substantial amount of work in Bangladesh (at a minimum, one book devoted to Bangladesh) or if their work in Bangladesh is of unusual historical or other significance. Non-Bangladeshi photographers who have merely made short visits to Bangladesh and had miscellaneous photographs published should not be specified below.
