Bhagchand Saini Tankda is an Indian politician from Rajasthan. He is a member of the 16th Rajasthan Legislative Assembly from Bandikui Assembly constituency representing the Bhartiya Janta Party.[1][2]
Early life and education
[edit]Tankda is from Bandikui, Dausa district, Rajasthan. He is the son of Bholaram Saini. He completed his graduation in arts.
Career
[edit]Tankda won from Bandikui Assembly constituency representing the Bharatiya Janata Party in the 2023 Rajasthan Legislative Assembly election.[3] He polled 92,067 votes and defeated his nearest rival, Gajraj Khatana of the Indian National Congress, by a margin of 12,380 votes.[4][5] He lost the 2018 Rajasthan Legislative Assembly election from Bandikui seat representing BSP.[6] In 2013, he contested the same seat unsuccessfully on Congress ticket.[6]
