Bazoft (Persian: بازفت) is a city in, and the capital of, Bazoft District of Kuhrang County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran. In 2013, the former villages of Chaman Goli (چمن گلی) and Telurd (تلورد) merged in the establishment of the new city of Bazoft.[3]

The city is populated by Lurs.[4]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, Bazoft's population (as the total of its constituent villages before their merger) was 831 in 592 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,324 people in 233 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population as 1,519 people in 337 households,[2] by which time the villages had merged to form the city of Bazoft.[3]
