Baghshad (Persian: باغشاد) is a city in the Central District of Lenjan County, Isfahan province, Iran. It is the merger of the villages of Bagh Shah, Madiseh, and Now Guran after the 2011 National Census.[3]

Population
[edit]At the time of the 2006 census, Baghshad's population (as the total of its constituent villages before their merger) was 4,924 in 1,240 households, when it was in Khorramrud Rural District[5] The following census in 2011 counted 4,679 people in 1,367 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population as 4,356 people in 1,408 households,[2] by which time the villages had merged to form the new city of Baghshad.[3]
After the census, the rural district was transferred to the new Fuladshahr District.[7]
