Argentina - Republic of Texas relations refers to the historical foreign relations between Argentina and The Republic of Texas. Relations unofficially began in 1837 a year after the Texas Revolution, and came to an complete and final end in 1846, after the annexation of Texas by the United States.
Diplomacy
[edit]Argentina never built an embassy in Texas but did open a consulate in Houston, Texas. Shortly after, Texas built a consulate in Buenos Aires.[1]
Trade
[edit]Texas exported cotton, corn and other crops to Argentina, while exported sugar, coffee, cocoa and many other cash crops to The Republic of Texas.
