Allan Oyirwoth (born 23 January 2007) is an Ugandan professional soccer player who plays for Major League Soccer club New England Revolution and the Uganda national football team.[1]
Early life
[edit]He is from Packwach in the West Nile region of Uganda. He attended Kibuli S.S and Amus College in Uganda, and Brooke House College and Academy in Leicester, England.[2] He was MVP in the Ugandan National Football Championships held in Fort Portal and finished as top scorer in the International Schools Football (ISF) championship in Morocco in 2023.[3][4]
Club career
[edit]In January 2025, he signed for Major League Soccer side New England Revolution.[5] Taking a supplemental roster spot, he agreed a contract that goes through the 2028 season and includes a club option for 2029.[6]
International career
[edit]He played for the Uganda U20 side which reached the final of the 2023 African Games in Ghana, scoring the goal against Senegal in a 1-0 win which ensured they topped their group.[2][7][8]
He made his competitive debut for the senior Uganda national football team in 2023 as a teenager. He played in an 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification (CAF) against Somalia in November 2023.[9][3]
